Resource Guidance Service

This program supports clients in accessing community resources that will assist in resolving current issues and needs.  Clients and staff work together to identify issues and develop a work plan towards a resolution.

Birthday Room

Sponsored by Beamsville Lioness, this program was created to help parents give their children a special gift on their birthday. Simply drop by our office sometime the week before your child's birthday and register for our birthday program.

Knapsacks for Kids

Knapsacks for Kids is a program to help registered families provide backpacks for their children. With support from the community, children registered at Community Care of West Niagara receive a knapsack filled with all grade appropriate supplies in August. With the help from Beamsville Giant Tiger and community members, over 150 knapsacks are given to children ensuring their first day back to school is an enjoyable experience.

Canadian Tire Jump Start Program

This community-based charitable program from the Canadian Tire Foundation for Families offers opportunities for children from low-income families to participate in organized sports or recreational activities such as hockey, soccer or swimming. Participation helps kids build self-esteem, while improving social skills, concentration and character. Community Care identifies families that will benefit from the program and is pleased to act as a local liaison connecting families and the Students.
