Community Care of West Niagara's Volunteers are recognized by the town of Lincoln with the Good Citizens Award.
The Town of Lincoln Good Citizen award is presented to a citizen or group of citizens located in Lincoln, who has given unselfishly of their time for the betterment of the Lincoln Community.
This award celebrates achievement, commitment and excellence in individuals/groups who have served the community through volunteerism or is just a good citizen.
Community Care of West Niagara nominated the following volunteers who received Good Citizens Awards:

- Beth and James Wagner
- Bill Harkness
This annual Volunteer Recognition Celebration took place on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Rockway Vineyards Golf Course.
