Christmas Hamper Program

About: 

The purpose of a Christmas Hamper is to assist our families entering this year's Holiday season by alleviating some of the emotional stress and extra costs that this time of year can bring. Last year in 2025, CCWN was able to provide Hampers filled with groceries, grocery gift cards and personal items.

The community's generous donations help to lessen some of the pressure that our clients experience. The holiday season can be a very emotional and expensive time for all of us. Charitable contributions from our community are greatly appreciated.

Steps to Sponsoring a Christmas Hamper:

1. Complete the form to the right or contact us to establish the size of family you would like to sponsor.
The specific family profile you choose (in consultation with staff) will be unique to the needs of that family.

2. Shop and assemble the new items for your family! We respectfully request you consider the following sponsorship guidelines: 

• Grocery investment - $50-$75 per person in household
• Adult Gift Investment - $40-$50 per adult
• Christmas Angel gift investment - *If you are interested in sponsoring an angel, click here.
• Please leave gifts unwrapped and provide a gift bag or gift wrap if desired
• We encourage you to include a combination of groceries, gift cards and new gifts. This allows you as a sponsor to enjoy the shopping and selection process and allows the recipient to participate in purchasing choices for their special Christmas! 

3. Deliver your Christmas Hamper to Community Care of West Niagara by Tuesday, December 8th, 2026. (Please clearly identify your Christmas Hamper Profile # on your hamper)

Drop-off Instructions:

CCWN will gratefully receive Hamper and Angel donations at the rear receiving door of our Beamsville location, Monday-Friday from 9am-4pm. Please ring the doorbell when you arrive and we will meet you there!

You can also support the Christmas Hamper program by making a monetary donation. Most financial donations qualify for a charitable tax receipt with minimum contributions. CCWN issues charitable tax receipts for donations $20 and over.
