Eviction & Housing Loss Prevention

Community Care of West Niagara supports low-income individuals and families residing in the Town of Lincoln. To access the benefits of our housing services, please complete Client Service Registration.

Registration packages are available electronically or in-person at our Beamsville office, located at 4309 Central Avenue.
The office is open Mon-Fri 8:30am - 4:30pm

Prevention Support is available to all walks of life that have experienced financial difficulties due to job loss, illness or other hardships. Our Prevention Support aims to reduce the risk of housing loss and homelessness. Prevention activities is therefore defined as support provided prior to the loss of one's permanent address.

Our Client Services Coordinator can:

Provide 1-1 support to stabilize a housing situation
Lend administrative support with forms and applications
Review your finances and look for opportunities to managing expenses
Refer you to helpful services such as utility, employment, ID services, Social Assistance and Legal support
Perform landlord engagement for mediation purposes (in special cases)
Review housing options if staying in your current home isn't possible
Provide resources for rental searches or assist with Shelter Admission
Offers extra help to people in emergency situations by providing emergency food, clothing, personal hygiene, and other needed resources
